Announcement: Malaysia RC Carnival 2013 @ KLIMS 23-24 Nov 2013

Dear Drivers,

We are pleased to announce -----

MALAYSIA RC CARNIVAL 2013
in conjunction with Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2013 (KLIMS) 

Venue: PWTC, Kuala Lumpur
Date: 23-24 November 2013 (KLIMS 15-24 Nov 2013)
Jointly Organized by: Tamiya Underground and HobbyHaven
Classes: touring, FF, Tamiya M-Chassis, F1, RC Drift, Mini 4WD.

Tracks are prepared on carpet:
1. On road EP track : estimated about 120 ft. by 60 ft.
2. RC Drift track: estimated about 50 ft by 30 ft.
3. Mini-4WD (non-carpet): to be confirmed

 

Every participant will get a complementary multi-day pass to KLIMS and goodies bag sponsored by KLIMS.
Touring Car – 13.5T
Motor - 13.5 turn (open to all brands - must be ROAR/IFMAR/EFRA approved)
Motor timing - adjustment allowed
Esc - Open (timing and turbo functions ALLOWED)
Tires/Rims/Inserts – SWEEP Tires only*. - 2 sets (1 additional set for A-Main)
Bodyshell - Open to all brands. Must be painted
Min Weight: 1380gm (with transponder)
Registration fees: RM150.00 inclusive of 1 set of tires
* SWEEP Pre-Glued Tires QTS28

Tamiya M-Chassis 
M03, M04, M05 and M06 only are allowed
Motor – Any brushless 17.5 turn (open to all brands)
Esc – Any "Blinky" ESC. (timing and turbo functions NOT ALLOWED)
Tires and Inserts - Open - only 1 set throughout the race
Bodyshell – Only Tamiya or Blitz bodies
Min Weight - 1200g (with transponder)
Registration fees: RM 100.00

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE (FWD only)
Chassis must have independent suspension to all four wheels. Each driven wheel (Front) must have a flexible joint (e.g. dogbone/s) in its driveshaft.
Motor – Any brushless 17.5 turn (open to all brands)
Esc – Any "Blinky" ESC. (timing and turbo functions NOT ALLOWED)
Tires and Inserts - SWEEPS Tires only. - limited to 1 set throughout the race.
Bodyshell – Open to all brands. Must be painted
Min Weight - 1350g (with transponder)
Registration fees: RM150.00 inclusive of 1 set of tires

FORMULA ONE (F1)
Chassis must be Formula One type eq: TAMIYA F104, HPI F TEN….etc
Motor – Any brushless 17.5 turn (open to all brands)
Esc – Any "Blinky" ESC. (timing and turbo functions NOT ALLOWED)
Tires - Open to any brand of rubber / foam tires. - limited to 1 set throughout the race.
Bodyshell – Open to all brands. Must be painted
Min Weight - 1100g (with transponder)
Registration fees: RM 100.00

Race Format: 
Saturday : 3 qualifying rounds
Sunday : 2 qualifying rounds + Finals
- Qualifying method: 3 out of 5 rounds to be counted. Point system based.
- Triple A Main Final, Double B Main Finals.
- Single Run Lower Main Finals
- All runs are 5 minutes
- No house transponders provided. Drivers are required to bring/buy their own. 

For F1 class: 
Saturday: 2 x 20 minutes qualifying rounds
Sunday: 1 x 20 minutes qualifying round + Final 
Qualifying: Single best lap out of 3 rounds of qualifying.

RC Drift Class: To be advised.
Mini 4WD: To be advised

Note: 
*Rules and regulations are subject to change
*Class with less than 10 participants would be cancelled.
